Governor Dannel P. Malloy has signed a bill he introduced that will require all state agency regulations to be posted online and made easily accessible to the public.

Put simply, Governor Malloy said, it is unacceptable that many of the state’s regulations are not available electronically. As has been noted more than once since he took office last year, Connecticut spent too long lagging behind in the use of modern technology, and moving state government services into the information age must be a top priority.
The new law requires agency regulations to be published on the website of the Office of the Secretary of the State, as well as on the websites of the regulating agencies themselves.
One way to make Connecticut a more attractive place to do business, Governor Malloy added, is to ensure that all of the state’s regulations are available to the public in a convenient, regularly updated online format – which is exactly what this law delivers.

The legislation is Public Act 12-92, An Act Transitioning the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies to an Online Format.
