Danbury, CT - The "Fab 4 Music Festival," New York/New England's only regional Beatles-themed outdoor Music, Food & Arts Festival coming to Ives Concert Park in Danbury, CT on Saturday, August 15, 2015, has announced that two new solo acts have been added to the entertainment line-up.

Nekita Waller, a soul singer from the Hartford area will be bringing her infectious R & B style to the festival, and Eric Herbst, singer/guitarist of the group DizzyFish, will be performing an acoustic set. They join the bands currently on the bill: The Hofners, The Blue Meanies, Penny Lane, The Oh Nos, Number Nine, The Navels, AfterFab, Strictly Beatles and School of Rock.

Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Hilton Valentine, the lead guitarist of The Animals, one of the British Invasion's most respected bands, will be appearing as Special Guest of Honor at the event, also billed as "Danbury Fields Forever." He will meet fans, sign autographs, and talk about the 60s and the British Invasion. The other Special Guest is artist Shannon, recognized as the "World's Greatest Rock & Roll Artist."

On August 15, 1965, The Beatles played Shea Stadium, and this festival is taking place on the same date exactly 50 years later in celebration of that historic event. Full-day advance "Ticket to Ride" admissions to the Fab 4 Music Festival are only $19.65 available at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/beatles-music-festival-2015-danbury-fields-forever-fab-4-music-festival-tickets-14945919648. There are also V.I.P. tickets available and hotel packages. Tickets will be higher at the door.

The festival runs from Noon until 8pm at Ives Concert Park located at 43 Lake Ave Ext on the campus of Western CT State University, in Danbury. The festival is in its fourth year, and is a family-friendly event with music and attractions for all ages.

In addition to the music, the family-friendly festival will feature Beatles memorabilia and record dealers & vendors, exhibitors, attractions, along with a large variety of food options available. TheatreWorks has been designated as the benefiting charity.

With a full day of fab four fun, as The Beatles sang, "It's Guaranteed to Raise a Smile."
