Matt Padgett of York tied the game in the ninth with an RBI single that plated Kennard Jones. Esquivel followed with the game-winning long ball, his only hit of the evening. Padgett finished the night three-for-four with a triple and two RBIs while Jones also recorded three hits. York starter Dave Gil (2-2) went eight innings for the Revs to earn the victory. He allowed just one hit over his last four frames and overall allowed five runs on six hits with three walks and five strikeouts. Bluefish starter Tim Drew worked 3.1 innings in his first start since May 24th. The righty allowed two runs to score on five hits with one walk and two strikeouts before giving way to Ryan DiPietro. Jesse Hoorelbeke got things started for Bridgeport early with a monstrous three-run homer off Gil in the first inning. Branden Florence cranked his fourth home run of the year in the third to give his 'Fish a 4-0 lead. Florence finished two-for-three with two runs to record the only multi-hit game for Bridgeport. The Bluefish will now host the Lancaster Barnstormers for a three-game weekend set. Bridgeport righty Barry Hertzler (3-3) takes the bump on Friday to face Eric Ackerman (2-4).
