The “Best of the Gold Coast 2008” celebration is Wednesday, August 6th from 6:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M., at the Hyatt Regency in Greenwich, CT. This event will raise funds to benefit Kids in Crisis. Kids in Crisis provides no fee services to children of all socio-economic backgrounds to protect them from abuse and family crisis. The Bridgeport Bluefish are honored by their selection for this award from Moffly Publications. “We are very excited to have been chosen as ‘Best Family Time’ honoree and we look forward to maintaining a friendly, family fun, night out in our surrounding communities,” said General Manger Todd Marlin. The Bridgeport Bluefish Professional Baseball Club, a charter team in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball, plays its home games at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard, located off Exit 27 of I-95 on the corner of Broad Street and South Frontage Road in Bridgeport. 2008 season tickets, mini-plans and group outings are available by calling 203-345-4800.
