On Thursday, May 15 the Fairfield Museum and History Center presents a members-only reception to preview a new exhibit, Keep �Em Coming!:World War II Poster Art. The exhibition features a selection of World War II posters from the museum�s collection that explore some of the main themes of visual propaganda of the time, including the consequences of careless talk, the call to purchase war bonds, the need for conservation and the imperative to boost productivity.

Bluefish add catcher to Roster

The Bridgeport Bluefish of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball announced the signing of catcher Shea Harris. Harris, 23, has one season of professional baseball experience. He signed as a free agent with the Atlantic City Surf of the Canadian-American League to start the 2007 season, later signing on with the Sioux City Explorers of the American Association. Playing in 32 games last season, Harris went 15-85 with two doubles, one home run, and five RBIs. He also drew 15 walks to boost his on-base percentage to .327. Harris also only made two errors in 178 chances.
