Lutetium, which will take occupancy of 3,405 square feet on the fourth floor in early 2013 for a five-year term, is already occupying temporary space on the building’s first floor pending construction of its long-term space. Malkin Construction will build out the fourth-floor space for the tenant. Paul Greenberg, CEO of Lutetium, says that “we chose Metro Center because we felt that the location, office amenities and professional staffing reflected the serious corporate image that our clients expect from our firm.” “Metro Center’s proximity to commuter rail and Interstate highway transportation, high-quality infrastructure, top-flight amenities and hands-on management services are viable assets for a wide variety of businesses, including financial firms like Lutetium,” says Mr. Newman. “The Stamford Transportation Center submarket is a vital, flourishing hub of business activity where diverse companies can grow and thrive.” Mr. Newman represented the landlord in this transaction, along with senior leasing associate Kimberly Zaccagnino and leasing associate Tara Long.
