STAMFORD, CT - Tuesday, Chris Meek of Stamford, candidate for Congress in Connecticut’s 4th Congressional District filed his 4th Quarter campaign finance report with the Federal Election Commission. The 4th quarter report will show a total of $230,000 in total campaign receipts.

“Since October, when we opened our campaign with the Federal Election Commission, I have spent countless hours on the road meeting one on one with voters and donors eager for change in the 4th Congressional District,” said Meek. “I am delighted by the support I’ve received and excited to report that our fundraising effort started strong in January and we are off to a great start in 2012.”

“Republicans are hungry for a win in 2012 and they want a candidate who can run a strong, grassroots campaign that will energize voters and leave no vote left behind,” said Meek. “We have had an exciting month of endorsements from leaders across the district who are ready to take on that challenge and win in November.”

Lt. Governor Mike Fedele of Stamford, State Representative Livvy Floren of Greenwich, Representative Terrie Wood of Darien, Ambassador Charles L. Glazer of Greenwich and State Representative Mike Molgano of Stamford are among the growing list of local leaders supporting the Meek campaign.
