Authors and illustrator of THE DANGEROUS BOOK FOR DOGS will be on-site for book readings at the Greenwich Kennel Club dog show Saturday, June 6, 2009

Join the authors and illustrator of this light-hearted parody for readings at the Greenwich Kennel Club all-breed dog show, obedience and rally trials at Taylor Farm Park in East Norwalk, CT. The readings will be held in conjunction with the 14th Annual Meet the Authors book signing. Join us to hear excerpts from THE DANGEROUS BOOK FOR DOGS: A Parody by Rex and Sparky at 11:30 am, 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm.

This Parody by Rex and Sparky was created with assistance by Joe Garden, Janet Ginsburg, Chris Pauls, Anita Serwacki, and Scott Sherman and Illustrated by Emily Flake. It’s a book that every dog wishes he had when he was a puppy. This laugh-out-loud parody
evokes an era B.D.—Before Domestication—and celebrates the simpler pleasures of being canine.

GKC is one of the oldest all-breed clubs in the northeast dating back to 1929 with their first dog show being held in 1930. They are a non-profit organization that promotes responsible dog ownership through proper training and support various animal welfare groups and research institutions through the proceeds of this show. For further information go to www.GreenwichKC.org or contact Gail Miller, Cell: (917) 312-6358.

THE DANGEROUS BOOK FOR DOGS: A Parody recaptures the lost canine arts, including:

• The Formal Rules of Fetch
• How to Escape Humiliating Costumes
• A Connoisseur's Guide to Shoes
• How to Make Your Owner Look Like an Idiot
• Making Toys out of Household Items
• Picking a Pill Out of Peanut Butter
• Poop: An Indelicate Discussion
