Stamford Twin Rinks Hosts 2nd Annual Spring Showdown Youth Hockey Tournament

Stamford, CT - Stamford Twin Rink’s CT Breakers announces the 2017 Spring Showdown Youth Hockey Tournament this Friday, June 9th through Sunday, June 11th & Friday, June 16th through Sunday, June 18th. The largest spring tournament in CT will consist of 67 teams and over 1350 players containing four different divisions ranging from “Mites” (6 year old players) to “Midgets” (16 year old players).

Former New York Ranger Mike Backman and Twin Rinks hockey director said: “We’re excited to host the Spring Showdown which will feature some of the best spring programs from the tristate area. Spring hockey is great to watch – skaters leave it all out on the ice!”

Admission to the tournament is free and open to the public. Championship games for each age group will be held on Sunday afternoon of each weekend.
