Norwalk Hospital hosts workshop for mothers and young daughters

Norwalk Hospital is hosting a workshop, "What Every Girl Wants to Know" on Wednesday, October 22, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Richard S. Perkin Auditorium of the hospital.

Diane Frankel-Gramelis, MS, CCE, Adjunct Health Educator at Southern Connecticut State University, will lead a discussion for mothers/guardians and daughters on the physical and emotional changes of puberty. The workshop will focus on questions about puberty, physical changes, emotional changes, menstruation, etc. It is presented free as a community service and light refreshments will be served.

The program is recommended for girls, ages 10 to 13, accompanied by their mother or female guardian. From 6:30 to 7:00 p.m., the attendees will have the opportunity to meet and ask questions to Norwalk Hospital physicians and staff in an informal setting.
