Diane Frankel-Gramelis, MS, CCE, Adjunct Health Educator at Southern Connecticut State University, will lead a discussion for mothers/guardians and daughters on the physical and emotional changes of puberty. The workshop will focus on questions about puberty, physical changes, emotional changes, menstruation, etc. It is presented free as a community service and light refreshments will be served. The program is recommended for girls, ages 10 to 13, accompanied by their mother or female guardian. From 6:30 to 7:00 p.m., the attendees will have the opportunity to meet and ask questions to Norwalk Hospital physicians and staff in an informal setting. This program is sponsored by Norwalk Hospital's Departments of Pediatrics and Obstetrics and Gynecology.
