New extended hours are M, T, W & F, 6:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.; Th, Sat & Sun, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. For more information on this exhibit, or other upcoming shows, contact Arcadia Cafe at 203-637-8766 or log onto the website, www.arcadiacoffee.com.

Yvonne Boogaerts is a native of Manhattan who currently lives in Fairfield County Connecticut. Her work is playful and colorful using symmetry and pattern with flora and fauna motifs. Her sophisticated palette is appealing and each piece is meticulously crafted and composed. A graduate of both the Rhode Island School of Design and the School of Museum of the Fine Arts, Boogaerts' background in abstract sculpture, architecture, and garden design influences her work, as does her lighthearted sense of humor, and her travels from Barcelona to New Zealand and right here in the New York metropolitan area. Ms. Boogaerts has participated in many exhibitions, including several in Fairfield County. She has been frequent contributor at the Greenwich Council's Art on The Avenue.

Arcadia Cafe is more than a coffee shop - it is an art gallery, meeting place, jazz nightclub, poetry place, comedy shop, etc. Located in the heart of historic Old Greenwich, Conn., Arcadia is owned and managed by Jenny Lawton and Rob and Amy Guerrieri, all Old Greenwich residents. The landmark building once housed the Old Greenwich Post Office and is now a wonderful space that is both warm and welcoming. Offering coffee, teas, espresso, homemade pastries, artisanal cheese, gourmet sandwiches and salads, Arcadia Cafe is a favorite spot to sit and relax, meet friends, catch up on the news and conduct casual business meetings.

Arcadia Cafe is a favorite spot to sit and relax, meet friends, catch up on the news and conduct casual business meetings. Arcadia also utilizes its unique space for artists to exhibit their artwork; Caitlin McVarish, the original founder of Arcadia, is now the art coordinator and can be contacted by artists interested in exhibiting at Arcadia Café.

McVarish can be reached via email at caitlinmcv@aol.com. Arcadia also rents its space in the evenings for private parties and meetings. Arcadia, which means paradise, simplicity and contentment, is a haven that reflects its name.

Arcadia Cafe is located at 20 Arcadia Road in Old Greenwich, Conn. For more information on Arcadia or any of its offerings, please call 203-637-8766 or refer to Arcadia's website at www.arcadiacoffee.com.
