The “Thunder Wolf” Helicopters were sold in a variety of retail establishments nationwide from June 2007 through December 2007, for approximately $20.00. The helicopter is made of plastic and foam and measures 7 inches by 3 inches. Printed on the tail of the Helicopter is “TW0996”. The rechargeable battery contained inside the helicopter can overheat, catch fire, posing a fire/burn hazard. Helicopters that DO NOT have stamped on the underside of this toy, “Made in China”, are subject to this recall. Consumer Protection Commissioner Jerry Farrell, Jr. strongly recommends parents check their children’s toys for this product and if found, immediately remove. There have been several reports of this toy catching fire, causing minor property damage. Consumers should contact Westminster Inc. for a refund. Retailers will not provide refunds or accept returns.
