Bridgeport took the lead in the third on a solo homer from outfielder Travis Ezi. Ezi’s liner was the first of 10 hits allowed by Camden starter Jake Dittler. The Riversharks tied the game when second baseman Bobby Gandolfo knocked an RBI single to left off Bridgeport hurler Matt Sweeney. The Bluefish reclaimed the lead in the fifth with a leadoff homer from catcher Luis Rodriguez. Later, second baseman Henry Mateo scored on a fielding error while advancing on a single from shortstop Alex Prieto. Dittler (2-4) was pulled after seven innings. He allowed three runs on 10 hits to earn the loss. The Bluefish scored two more in the eighth off reliever Julio Guerrero. Outfielder Ryan Bear smashed a double to ignite a rally. He scored two batters later on a double from designated hitter Wilson Batista. Sweeney (3-6) earned the win for the Bluefish after allowing just one run on seven hits in six innings.
