Seven members of the Greenwich, Conn. office of Newmark Knight Frank have been recognized by CoStar Realty Information Inc. as 2007’s top office leasing brokers in the Westchester/Southern Connecticut market.

Managing Principal Stephen M. Banker; Managing Principal John D. Goodkind; Managing Principal Gilbert L. Ohls; Principal Patricia A. Valenti; Managing Director Brian Carcaterra; Managing Director James Ritman; and Associate Paul Gojkovich III received the Bethesda, Md.-based real estate information services provider’s “2007 CoStar Power Broker Awards,” based upon their individual transaction volume last year.

The performance of the Greenwich and White Plains offices also earned the global commercial real estate services provider recognition by CoStar as one of 2007’s “Top Leasing Firms” in this market.

“I could not be prouder of our team,” said Goodkind. “Fully half of our brokerage professionals earned CoStar’s “Power Broker” award; and collectively, they took very close to half of the office leasing honors for Westchester/Southern Connecticut – which speaks volumes for our presence in this market.”

Now in its sixth year, the CoStar Power Broker Awards are presented to the top firms and individuals in each market (including Westchester/Southern Connecticut) who achieve outstanding volume of property sales and leasing transactions in office, industrial and retail properties as reflected in CoStar’s database as of year-end 2007. Individual brokers are recognized in the following categories: Top Office Leasing, Top Industrial Leasing, Top Retail Leasing and Top Sales. In addition, Top Leasing and Top Sales CoStar Power Broker Awards are presented to brokerage firms in recognition of the volume of property sales and leasing transactions in office, industrial and retail properties they generate companywide.
