Michael Bloomberg calls Shays “one of the country’s best congressmen”
New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg today formally endorsed Congressman Christopher Shays (CT-4) in a new television advertisement airing on cable systems across the Fourth Congressional District. Bloomberg references Shays’ bipartisan record in Congress and calls Shays “a man of integrity and the highest of ethical standards.”
“Christopher is honored to have the support of Michael Bloomberg,” said Michael Sohn, Shays’ campaign manager. “Congressman Shays and Mayor Bloomberg have worked closely on a number of issues, including terrorism and transportation. They have a great working relationship, and that bodes very well for the district and the region.”
