Nautical Nightmares at Mystic Seaport
Tickets for Mystic Seaport’s 7th annual Nautical Nightmares go on sale September 22 for the general public (September 15 for Museum members).

The area’s premier Halloween event is a dramatic experience that explores ghost tales, legends and unsolved mysteries of days gone by. This year’s performance tells the tale of Captain McDougal, his missing ship and an eerie figurehead that has washed up on shore. Ever since the figurehead’s arrival, terrible accidents have befallen the townspeople. Is the figurehead cursed? Has that same curse befallen Captain McDougal? Join the residents of Greenmanville as they seek to survive the evening and solve the mystery of the cursed figurehead.

Performance nights are October 17-19, 23-26, 31 and November 1. Tours begin nightly at 6 p.m. (except Friday, October 31, when tours begin at 7 p.m.). Tours leave every 15 minutes.

Tickets are $19 for adults ($18 for members) and $17 for children ages 6-17 ($16 for member youth). A $2 handling fee will be applied to all tickets. Tickets can be purchased online at www.mysticseaport.org/nauticalnightmares or by calling Central Reservations at 860.572.5331 Monday though Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This event is not recommended for children under 10. The Nautical Nightmares tour route is not wheelchair accessible and includes several steps.
