Join Naturalist Chris Evers of Animal Embassy for a fascinating and first-hand look at these often-misunderstood creatures during “Reptiles of the World,” an Outdoor Adventures educational program, at Stamford Museum & Nature Center on Friday, Oct. 24. “Reptiles of the World” is an Outdoor Adventures program presented by Stamford Museum & Nature Center in partnership with Animal Embassy. This program is suitable for children three years and older. Two program times are offered: 5:30– 6:30 p.m. (ages 3-6), 7– 8:30 p.m. (ages 6 and older). Pre-registration is required; call 203.322.1646 ext. 6251. Pricing is as follows: Members $5, Non-Members $8 (parking and admission included). This program will be held in the Stamford Museum & Nature Center’s Bendel Mansion and will be held rain or shine. Animal Embassy on Heckscher Farm, home to live exotic animals, is open Tuesday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Stamford Museum & Nature Center’s Heckscher Farm showcases more than 50 heritage breed and traditional farm animals including cows, horses, goats, sheep and pigs.
