June 14 is the fourth annual Connecticut Open House Day and state residents are invited to discover the attractions, cultural organizations, shops and lodging properties close to home. More than 240 arts, history, film and tourism properties will welcome visitors with a variety of special incentives, such as discounted/free admission, free gifts and/or special exhibits and activities for Connecticut residents. This one-day event is sponsored by the Connecticut Commission on Culture & Tourism (CCT) to raise awareness among Connecticuts residents of all the state has to offer from its well-known treasures to its many hidden gems and to encourage them to become Connecticut Ambassadors who share their findings with visiting family and friends.
