With the presidential election just weeks away, the Fairfield Museum and History Center is offering an Election Day special that makes sense no matter which way you vote. On Election Day, Tuesday, November 4, the Museum will be free of charge to all adults who wear an “I Voted Today” sticker. Explore the Museum’s galleries free of charge, where you will see the Landscape of Change exhibit detailing 350 years of Fairfield history, and the new Family Connections exhibit which celebrates the links that heirlooms create between generations. Visitors will want to stop by the Museum’s gift shop, which is brimming with Halloween treats and home accents for the season.
Kids will have their own opportunity to vote; casting ballots for their favorite museum piece, and engaging them in the process of the day. An American flag craft project will be available as well.
Fairfield Museum is located at 370 Beach Road in Fairfield, and is open on Election Day from 10am – 4pm. For more information on this special offer, please visit www.fairfieldhs.org or call 203-259-1598.
