12th annual Flights of Fancy Wine Tasting to benefit Stamford Museum & Nature Center

Stamford Museum & Nature Center’s 12th Annual Flights of Fancy Wine Tasting, an evening of fine wines provided by WinePort, exquisite food from 10 different local caterers, and an amazing combination of live and silent auction items to benefit the SM&NC is set for Friday, June 5, 2009.
The 12th annual wine tasting will be held in the museum’s Bendel Mansion. All event proceeds support Stamford Museum & Nature Center’s educational mission.
“It’s a chance to come together with co-workers, friends and family for an evening of some of the area’s best food and a variety of fine wines, all while supporting the Stamford Museum & Nature Center,” said Claudia Silver of Stamford, chair of the event. “This casual, social, and affordable event is a fun way to help support one of the community’s vital educational and cultural resources. We’ve got some incredible items for our live and silent auctions, including a stay in a private cottage at Landmark Vineyards in Napa Valley, tickets to the U.S. Tennis Open, and a condo in Steamboat Springs, Colorado,” she added.
