In 1992 “No Rain” became a smash hit and Blind Melon became one of rock’s feel-good overnight success stories. The success translated into album sales as well as a memorable appearance at Woodstock ’94. “Soup,” one of the decade’s most underrated rock gems, was released in 1995. After a decade apart the band stumbled across Blind Melon fan/singer, Travis Warren, headed a sold out club tour and released “For My Friends” in April. www.myspace.com/blindmelon. The concert is sponsored by New York Sports Clubs. Two other amazing bands will open for Blind Melon!
