The YMCA of Norwalk is offering Life Guard Certification Courses during May and June

Norwalk CT - Whether you’re already a certified life guard or want to become one, the YMCA of Norwalk has the course for you. On Saturday, May 10th from 9 am – 5 pm, the YMCA is holding a recertification course for life guards.

Or you can train to become a professional life guard, receiving certification in life guard training, first aid, CPR for the professional rescuer and AED administration.

One session will be held from 5:30 pm – 9:30 pm on May 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23 and 30.

Another session will be held from 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm on June 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, and 28.

You must be 15 years old to enroll. Register now for one of the programs by contacting Carolyn Boyce, Director Aquatics, at 203 866-4425 x336 or aquatics@norwalkymca.org.
