The Norwalk Public Library presents The Ultimate Storm: Hurricane, Sunday, September 21, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm in the Auditorium with Art Horn, Meteorologist, who has been seen on CBS, ABC, NBC, and PBS programs. He is a native of Connecticut.
Horn will present everything you ever wanted to know about earth's greatest storm, the hurricane, with specific information about the Hurricane of 1938 on this the 70th anniversary of the Great New England Hurricane of Wednesday, September 21, 1938.
Learn about earth's ultimate storm the hurricane, as he explores the 1938 Hurricane, many others and other weather related topics.
The Northeast has been visited by great storms from time to time although there has been a long period without land-fall hurricanes here in Southern New England. This might be about to change and this program will tell you why.
Horn recently was guest speaker at the first International Climate Change Conference held in New York City which will also be one of the topics he presents.
