Stepping Stones Museum for Children is offering children and families the opportunity to visit the museum this summer and receive a free gallon of gas. Beginning this month, families who purchase two full price admissions at Stepping Stones at $9 each will receive today’s price of one gallon of gas off their total admission with a coupon available on the museum’s website at steppingstonesmuseum.org.

“We know current gas prices are keeping many families closer to home this summer,” said Sarah McCall, director of marketing and communications at Stepping Stones. “We’re hoping this offer will encourage people throughout the state to visit the museum and experience all that it has to offer.”

Stepping Stones gas promotion is part of Governor Rell’s Staycation Destination initiative, a comprehensive marketing campaign to showcase attractions, lodging, and dining throughout the state. The offer will be good through September 1. Only one coupon may be used per family or group and is not valid with any other offers. The coupon value is based on the average price of gasoline and does not exceed $5.

Stepping Stones Museum for Children is an award-winning children's museum committed to broadening and enriching the lives of children. With four main galleries, a toddlers-only gallery, its ever-popular summer exhibit Bubbles and more than 100 hands-on activities, Stepping Stones offers children ten and under plenty to explore and discover. Stepping Stones is located at 303 West Avenue, Norwalk, CT, exit 14 North and 15 South off I-95. From July 1 to Labor Day, the museum is open every day, 10 am – 5pm. On July 4, the museum will be open, 10 am – 3 pm. Admission is $9 and children under 1 are free. To learn more visit steppingstonesmuseum.org or call 203 899 0606.
