NORWALK, CT - Performance Dance (PD) announces the commencement of a new season for Adult Beginning Intermediate Ballet Classes led by Nancy Schwartz. Saturday classes will recommence September 11th at 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm. Tuesday classes will start September 14, 2010 at 10:30 am – 12:00 pm and again in the evening from 7:00pm – 8:30pm. Classes are continuous throughout the calendar year, and the cost is $16.00 per class.
Owner of PD, Nancy has performed professionally for the past 30 years in both modern and ballet companies in original and classical choreography. Currently studying in both Connecticut and New York, her classes are known for a musically sound, and strengthening class increasing from slow to quick movements. A long stamina building barre, and well rounded center will be given with special attention to movement as an adult. “In today’s hectic world, there are so many benefits for continuing dance education well into our adult life. The music, the memorization and the mathematics of the steps and most of all the physical effort and its benefits contributes to the adult’s health, love of movement, and self growth,” says Nancy Schwartz.
Performance Dance is conveniently located off I-95 on exit 16.
