If you are not familiar with e-Books … you soon will be! In today’s technology driven world, “e-Books” are becoming all the rage. Wikipedia states that: “an e-Book (for electronic book: also ebook: also ecobook) is the digital media equivalent of a conventional printed book. Such documents are usually read on personal computers, or on dedicated hardware devices known as e-book readers or e-book devices.” According to a New York Times article dated November 22, 2007, online retailer Amazon not only sells e-Books, but they have created and released their own e-Book reader called the “Kindle.” This product launch demonstrates the largest US book retailer's foresight about e-Books' sales potential and how they are poised to leverage the phenomenon. Riding this exciting wave, author Ronnie Ann Ryan, of Success Express Coaching, will be teaching “7 Steps to Writing and Selling Your e-Book” at NCC. She will share strategies on how to pick a self-help topic, organize the writing and complete the book quickly. In addition, participants will learn how to sell the e-Book online and receive many resources to help with the entire process. Ryan states that "… becoming an author improves your credibility, sets you up as an expert, works as a marketing tool and generates passive income." She is the author of “It's Never Too Late to Meet Mr. Right” which was first published as a paperback in 2004. She recently turned her manuscript into an e-Book in 2007 which now sells online.
