Local companies demonstrate commitment to lifelong learning by supporting Stepping Stones Museum for Children’s Companies for Kids

Norwalk, CT - Twenty seven companies have joined Stepping Stones Companies for Kids corporate partnership program that offers the business community unique opportunities to engage with the museum in its mission to broaden and enrich the educational opportunities for children. These mutually-beneficial partnerships help fund museum exhibits, educational programs and accessibility initiatives.

"When companies and nonprofit organizations join forces in their commitment to community well being, everyone benefits," says Elizabeth Cahill, Stepping Stones board member, chair of the Companies for Kids Task Force and senior vice president, US Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management. "Companies for Kids partnerships provide opportunities for companies to offer employee benefits, build positive brand awareness, create community goodwill and provide Stepping Stones with fresh thinking, volunteer support and new revenue."

Stepping Stones Museum for Children is an award-winning children's museum committed to broadening and enriching the lives of children. Museum exhibits, educational programs and special events complement efforts in schools, childcare centers and homes. With four main galleries, a toddlers-only gallery and more than 100 hands-on activities, Stepping Stones offers children ten and under plenty to explore and discover.
