Keith Crosby of ADP Service Corp. earns LEED Accredited Professional designation

Norwalk, CT - Albert D. Phelps, Inc., managing and leasing agent for Merritt 7 Corporate Park in Norwalk, and ADP Service Corp., licensed general contractor, today announced that Keith Crosby, vice president of construction & property management for ADP Service Corp., has earned the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED™) Accredited Professional (AP) designation.

The LEED™ Green Building Rating System is designed to encourage energy and resource conservation in the construction and operation of buildings. The LEED Professional Accreditation distinguishes building professionals with the knowledge and skills to successfully steward the LEED certification process. LEED APs have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles and the LEED Rating System. More than 50,000 people have earned the credential since the Professional Accreditation program was launched in 2001.

“It’s a great honor to have earned the LEED AP designation and to be recognized for instituting green building practices,” said Mr. Crosby. “ADP Service Corp. has taken numerous actions over a several year period to make our construction projects more energy efficient. We’re pleased to reinforce our ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship by instituting the principles of the LEED Rating System.”

Mr. Crosby brings over 20 years construction experience to ADP Service Corp. He joined ADP Service Corp. in 1995 to assist with a 230,000 square foot tenant project and took over as vice president of construction in 2002. Since joining ADP Service Corp., Mr. Crosby has grown the construction portfolio to include successful projects for Fuji Film Medical Systems, Virgin Atlantic Airways, and FactSet Research Systems, among others.

Mr. Crosby is a member of The United States Green Building Council (USGBC), Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and the Norwalk Chamber of Commerce. He also serves as a leader of Monroe Little League and the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Crosby resides in Monroe, Conn.
