The Ferguson Library gratefully acknowledges the First County Bank Foundation for a 2009 Grant Award in the amount of $5,000. The money will be used to purchase e-books and other electronic materials for the Library’s collection. First County Bank has been a generous friend to the Library over the years and has supported many of our efforts in the past.

Thanks also to Stop & Shop for a generous donation of $1,000. The funds will be used to buy materials for the Library’s DVD collection. If you are interested in making a donation to help us purchase much needed library materials, please visit the Donations page of our website, http://www.fergusonlibrary.org/donate. We welcome all donations in these difficult economic times.

The Ferguson Library is Stamford’s public library system, consisting of the Main Library downtown, the Harry Bennett Branch, the Weed Memorial & Hollander Branch, the South End Branch and a traveling Bookmobile. It provides free and equal access to print, audiovisual and evolving electronic resources. Their website, www.fergusonlibrary.org, offers remote access to information and resources 24 hours a day.
