After a childhood of playing cantinas and honky tonks from Texas to Tennessee, the band of brothers-Los Lonely Boys-from San Angelo, Texas rocked their way to the top of the American music industry with such hits as "Heaven," which earned them their first Grammy Award. Los Lonely Boys are bringing their Texican Rock 'n' Roll to The Ridgefield Playhouse on Thursday, May 14 at 8 p.m.
The essence of "Forgiven," Los Lonely Boys' third album, is, according to guitarist Henry Garza, "Familia!" And, why not? They are family. Jojo, on bass guitar and Ringo, on drums join with Henry, all of whom are on vocals, with Henry and Jojo alternating lead duties.
"Heaven" reached No. 1 on the Adult Contemporary chart and crossed over to the Hot Country Songs chart. The group can also be found on Santana's album, "All that I Am," singing "I Don't Wanna Lose Your Love."
