With lead singer Hugo, a dead ringer for Steve Perry, both visually and vocally, fronting, the band of veteran musicians from New York is the closest there is to the early to mid 1980s live-up of Journey live. Journey released their eighth and biggest-selling studio album, Escape in 1981. The album, which would ultimately sell nine times platinum, went to number one on the album charts that year, and included three top-ten hits: Whos Crying Now, Dont Stop Believing and Open Arms. For tickets ($40/$35) and further information about The Playhouse, call the box office at 203-438-5795; tickets may also be purchased online at www.ridgefieldplayhouse.org.
