Fun for kids with the musical adventure We’re Goin’ on a Bear Hunt at The Ridgefield Playhouse

Courageous bear hunters journey through grass, a river, mud, and other obstacles before the inevitable encounter with a bear forces a headlong retreat. A musical event, We’re Goin’ on a Bear Hunt, will come to life for kids on Saturday, February 2, at 11 a.m. & 2 p.m. at The Ridgefield Playhouse. For tickets ($20 adults, $15 children), call the box office at 203-438-5795, or buy adult tickets online at ridgefieldplayhouse.org.

Ideal for ages 3 – 8 (grades PreK – 3), this theatrical event is adapted from Michael Rosen’s picture book and presented by KW & NB Ltd & Kids Entertainment. Piccolo Pizza & Jazzeria (24 Prospect St., Ridgefield) is offering a free scoop of gelato the day of the show when tickets/stubs are presented. This event is part of the Pepsi Children’s Series. The Union Savings Bank “Arts for Everyone” recipient is Ability Beyond Disability.

Catchy songs, interactive scenes and hands-on adventure are sure to take the winter blues away not to mention some special surprises to delight kids and parents alike.
