Christine O'Leary is a social worker, project manager, social media editor and professional award-winning comedienne. She donated her talents to host the January 19 & 20 Hope and Healing concerts produced by The Ridgefield Playhouse to benefit survivors and first responders of the December 14 tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut. “Christine is just plain funny and can think fast on her feet, which she demonstrated as host of the Hope and Healing concerts,” explained Susan Dumont-Bengston. “With her charm and wit, Christine could inspire anyone to be really funny!” “The experience of performing all over the country, whether at The Ridgefield Playhouse or on a rockin’ & rollin’ lobster boat off the coast of Maine is hands down the best high that has ever pulsed through my comedic veins. By giving this workshop, I’ll be able to share my techniques and performance experience with those in need of comic relief.” To sign up ($300 tuition for the 8-week class), call the box office at 203-438-5795.
