WBC names Fran Pastore 2012 Extraordinary Woman

Stamford, CT - The Women's Business Council of the Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce has chosen four esteemed women for the 2nd annual "Conversation with Extraordinary WBDC Women". The event will take place on April 26th at the Matrix Conference and Banquet Center in Danbury, CT. Among the four women being honored is Stamford resident, Fran Pastore, CEO of the Women's Business Development Council (WBDC).

As the CEO and founder of the Women's Business Development Council Fran Pastore is dedicated to helping women start and expand small businesses, become tax payers, and create jobs throughout Connecticut. In addition Fran has recently been appointed to serve on the National Women's Business Council in order to be a voice for women small business owners to the President, Congress, and the US Small Business Administration.

Joining Fran on the panel will be Marian Salzman, CEO or PR Operations at Euro RSCG Worldwide PR, Donna Palomba, Founder of Jane Doe No More, and Janet Peckinpaugh, former CT TV anchor and President of Peckinpaugh Media Group. All four women have achieved high levels of success in their respected fields and will share their professional stories that led them to being the leaders they are today.
