Former Fairfield Police Chief Gary MacNamara joins Sacred Heart University

Former Fairfield Police Chief Gary MacNamara has joined Sacred Heart University in the role of executive director for public safety and government affairs. He comes to the University after spending the past 18 years as chief of the Fairfield Police Department. During his tenure, the Fairfield Department has had one of the best reputations in the state.

Horizons at The Ethel Walker School Showcases STEAM Projects of 200 Students

The first ever state-wide Horizons at The Ethel School STEAM Exhibition was held on July 27th at The Ethel Walker School campus in Simsbury. More than 100 students from Horizons’ sites throughout Connecticut joined the 85 young girls participating in the Horizons at The Ethel Walker School program to display their science, technology, engineering, arts and math projects. These public school students showcased the science, technology, engineering, arts and math skills they have acquired during the six-week summer program.
