CLC Childcare Learning Centers Charitable Fundraising Event - May 17, 2014

On Saturday, May 17, 2014, CLC Childcare Learning Centers of Stamford hosted its annual fundraising event. 220 guests attended the event, themed, All That Jazz, at the Stamford Marriott Hotel and Spa. Legg Mason Reading Volunteers were honored for all of the work they have done with CLC's children. United States senator Richard Blumenthal spoke about the important role CLC plays in the lives of children and families of Stamford. City of Stamford Mayor, David Martin was also a part of the proceedings, and emphasized the growing importance and need of CLC's high quality programs. One of the evening's highlights was a performance of "The World is a Rainbow" by the Room 9 Class of CLC Palmer's Hill location.

All That Jazz was hosted by Amelie Wilson of News 12 Connecticut and featured Jeff Cripe of Christie's New York who ran a sensational live auction. Guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, a sit-down dinner, and the exciting jazz music of GRAMMY nominated Christian Sands of the Christian Sands Quartet featuring Brian Torff.
